Guitar warm up exercise #3

I use this warm up exercise pretty regularly. It’s simple to remember and flows nicely. It’s called “Penta Practice” because it is based around the minor pentatonic scale, which is one of the most straight forward and useful scales. So not only are you warming up, but you’re learning a scale at the same time. The word “penta” meaning 5, relates to the pentatonic scale having 5 notes (tonics/tones) from the major scale.

As with all warm up exercises, start slow and get it perfect…don’t just try to play it at a million miles and hour. Hope you like it!
